The Model 804, 805, 815 and 816 are designed for use on sectional torsion spring or counterbalanced doors up to 16 sq metres (170 square feet) with a minimum height of 6 feet 6 inches and a maximum height of 25 feet with weights up to 775Ibs.

The Model 8804, 8805, 8815 and 8816 are designed for use on sectional torsion spring or counterbalanced doors up to 33 sq metres (350 square feet) with a minimum height of 9 feet 6 inches and a maximum height of 30 feet with weights up to 16001bs.

The pulley size is determined by the cable drum size (maximum diameter across the flange). For example: if you are fitting a model 805 or 816 and the diameter of the torsion drum was 5.25", you would use a drive with a 4" jackshaft pulley. If more torque were required you would select a larger pulley diameter drive. This will however result in a slight reduction in door speed.

Models 805, 815, 816, 8805, 8815 and 8816 are available with pulley sizes 3",4",5" and 6". Models 804 and 8804 are available with pulley sizes 4",5", 6", 8" and 10".

The Zap SUPER-DRIVES are designed to provide a one-man QIK-FITTM installation and simply slip over and secure to a 1" solid or hollow torsion shaft as a complete, pre-assembled, self contained unit, requiring no additional installation materials.

The models 805 and 8805 incorporate Iackshaft operators with a chain tensioning over-ride mechanism. The models 815 and 8815 incorporate Jackshaft operators with a Bowden Cable ten­sioning over-ride mechanism. The models 816 and 8816 incorporate Iackshaft operators with an integrated chain hoist and Bowden Cable tensioning over-ride mechanism.

The models 816 and 8816 are designed to mount below the torsion assembly to the doorframe at the side of the track. The pulley is designed to slip on and secure to a 1" solid or hollow torsion shaft. Various shaft diameters may be facilitated by incorporating shaft couplers and using only the models 804 and 8804.
